It is a research project that allows to base the development of theoretical concepts and practical tools applied to the definition of optimized routes in the field of transport on demand, both in terms of goods and people.
In particular, it is desired to be able to provide greater user satisfaction from an optimal routing allocation where fewer vehicles are required and significantly reduces greenhouse gas emissions and, thereby, reduce traffic congestion, in order to obtain more sustainable transport.
The practical and real importance of the results obtained, as well as their multidisciplinary nature, will be demonstrated through their application to both private and collective vehicles, also taking into account the reduced and average mobility of passengers.
