Jordi Montero had his degree in Computer Science in 1998, has been PAS of UPC since 2000. His research interest includes discrete simulation system and he has working in several projects for different enterprises -Aena, Agbar, Almirall Prodesfarma, Damm, Indra, Siemens,…- and sectors: clinical trail, airport, transports, manufacturing, pharmaceutical.

Nowadays, He’s focused on several projects around emerging mobile technologies.

The company Friselva, together with the Alimentaria Guissona Corporation (bonÀrea) and with the participation of the inLab FIB from UPC as a technology center, is working on the Hydroless operational group project.

Machine Learning model applied to climbing for Lizcore

This project seeks to develop a machine learning model to identify risk situations before starting climbing with self-insurer, helping the staff of the center to detect dangers automatically and precisely.
