Wireless Media: Exploring Multimedia services on cell phones

The main objective of the project is to explore the possibilities of multimedia services on cell phones: evaluate new wireless technologies, develop prototypes to acquire knowledge of the medium, its technical potential and possible creative and commercial limitations.

Proofs of concept were developed for geolocalized applications (Infundis), television, games and multimedia to cell phones with the restrictions of the mobile terminals available at the time. Preliminary business plans for these applications were also prepared.
