UOC Índex. Using Learning Analytics to measure elearning

Description

The goal of the UOC Índex project is to convert the data from the UOC eLearn Center’s DataMart into valuable and easy-to-understand information for members of the UOC community.

To do so, it is proposed to create numerical or categorical indexes as simple elements of information transmission that can be accompanied by visual elements (e.g., depending on the number, they are painted in one color or another or represented by graphics – a traffic light, for example).

These indexes will make it easier to know how students, teaching collaborators, colleagues, subjects and the University itself are evolving within the UOC. This is an opportunity to use learning analytics with the eLearn Center’s DataMart data in an innovative yet simple way for the end user.

inLab is in charge of the development of the UOC Índex prototype that will later be tested and proven by UOC consultants.
