TOTQ: Internal quality assurance system for UPC studies.

The TOTQ software tool is an application that facilitates the definition, management, evaluation and improvement of all internal tasks related to the quality of teaching processes in the different centers.

The framework of the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) and the new changes introduced in Spanish regulations establish that universities are primarily responsible for the performance of the quality objectives associated with the education they provide, seeking continuous improvement, and understanding this quality as a global concept that affects the entire university.

For this reason, universities need to incorporate formally established and publicly available internal quality management policies and systems that respond to the needs of the institutions themselves and the expectations of society. In this context, the UPC has developed this tool.
