RA Board (Learning Resources Monitoring)

Description

The objective of this project is to monitor the use of a series of learning resources of the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC).

The development by inLab consists of data loading and transformation (ETL: Extract, Transform and Load) for the creation of a Datamart with the information on the use of the different learning resources, and the installation in containers of all the components of the architecture.

In this first phase, we specifically want to store data from:

  1. The Quadrivia App, an App developed by the UOC so that students can learn by playing, the first trivia app for university students.
  2. Academic Information: Subjects taught, study plans, enrollments, etc.
  3. Data on NIU learning resources. The NIU is a mosaic-like structure that allows the student to see what is the activity to be solved and what are the learning resources proposed to solve it.
  4. Analysis of the visualizations of the different videos.

inLab FIB participates in the development of this ETLs and in the installation of the entire platform in Docker containers, and Seidor in the programming of the BackEnd (API), and the visualization of this data in a web browser (FrontEnd).
