ETURISME: Neutral Point for tourist services

Description

The Neutral Point for Tourism Services project is an R&D&I initiative promoted by the Cluster for Innovation and financed by the Ministry of Industry and Enterprise through the April 2007 grants for the development of business research and development projects.

The objective to be achieved is the construction of a pilot project capable of increasing the added value of the territory’s tourist offerings and improving the experience of tourism service customers, thanks to the integration of cutting-edge ICT innovation elements.

In order to achieve this objective, during its two years of existence, the Neutral Point for Tourism Services has carried out research and development work in the field of information processing technologies and personalization and recommendation agents. The aim is to achieve an advanced tool that acts as an agent of interconnection between suppliers and clients, and that is capable of recommending visits to tourists according to their interests.
