Electronic Journal of the Catalan Association of Sociology

The objective of this project is to achieve a technological solution that allows, on the one hand, access through the Internet to the magazine of the Catalan Association of Sociology (ASC) and, on the other hand, to allow the association’s employees to easily update the contents.

Users can not only consult the contents of the electronic journal, but can also add comments on articles or perform searches using the Thesaurus search engine.

The journal editors can enter the journal data, i.e. title of each chapter, authors of the articles in each chapter, classification according to the Thesaurus search engine, bibliography, article abstract, article excerpt and finally PDF containing the entire article, with a computer tool, without the need for computer skills.

Once the project is completed, inLab performs the hosting on the server of the Institute of Catalan Studies, applying the necessary security requirements.
