Jordi Montero had his degree in Computer Science in 1998, has been PAS of UPC since 2000. His research interest includes discrete simulation system and he has working in several projects for different enterprises -Aena, Agbar, Almirall Prodesfarma, Damm, Indra, Siemens,…- and sectors: clinical trail, airport, transports, manufacturing, pharmaceutical.

Nowadays, He’s focused on several projects around emerging mobile technologies.

New system for the Special Public Transport Service of the Barcelona Municipal Institute of Disabled Persons (IMPD).
Mobile application that integrates with the infotainment system of SEAT vehicles that have the mirrorLink system and allows you to locate car parks

Main projects participated

Simulation in the lotting of paint in the SEAT factories
Extension of the tooPath tracking system designed for real-time mass tracking of runners in long-distance races.
Mobile application that uses augmented reality to allow visitors to the MAC’s Castell de Olèrdola to get to know the different points of interest and obtain information.
