The objective of the ANYWHERE project is to develop specific tools for predicting the impacts of extreme weather and climate events prior to their occurrence, in order to better manage their effects. The aim is to provide tools both to the authorities in charge of civil protection and to the citizens to increase their self-protection and response capacity.
The inLab FIB has designed and developed, commissioned by the Center for Applied Research in Hydrometeorology (CRAHI), a mobile application that generates alerts associated with specific locations in case of danger due to floods and floods.
CRAHI focuses its activities in the field of hydrometeorological forecasting, providing scientific and technological answers to the challenges related to the management of derived phenomena.
CRAHI coordinates the ANYWHERE project (http://anywhere-h2020.eu/) funded by the European Union’s H2020 program.
