Jordi Montero had his degree in Computer Science in 1998, has been PAS of UPC since 2000. His research interest includes discrete simulation system and he has working in several projects for different enterprises -Aena, Agbar, Almirall Prodesfarma, Damm, Indra, Siemens,…- and sectors: clinical trail, airport, transports, manufacturing, pharmaceutical.

Nowadays, He’s focused on several projects around emerging mobile technologies.

The inLab FIB, in collaboration with the Mossos d’Esquadra, has developed the proof of concept of an assistance tool for police response to everyday incidents based on artificial intelligence.
Project to support the development of theoretical concepts and practical tools applied to optimized routes in the field of on-demand transportation.
Digitization of surveys for the detection of infectious diseases to see the results in a graphic and understandable way, as well as to be able to geolocate where they have been carried out.

Simulation in the lotting of paint in the SEAT factories
Extension of the tooPath tracking system designed for real-time mass tracking of runners in long-distance races.
Mobile application that uses augmented reality to allow visitors to the MAC’s Castell de Olèrdola to get to know the different points of interest and obtain information.
