UPC Roses. Sant Jordi Digital 2022

Digital rose generation through AI applied in art from deep learning models.

The system is based on an image of a rose that is modified and that brings it closer to the style of the artist and the text introduced by the user. For each of the roses, a video is included to know how it has been generated using intensive computing and complex calculations at high speed.

The project also allows you to view a gallery of all the roses that have been generated.

This project is commissioned by UPC’s Gabinet del Rector, that has been organizing Sant Jordi Digital 2022 of UPC, that, jointly with UPCArts, have wanted to create a system to generate virtual roses with AI.

This system has been developed by inLab FIB with the collaboration of the Communication Service of the UPC and UPCArts.
