Management of Final Year Projects

The Final Degree Project Management project aims to optimize the administrative management of the processes related to the registration and presentation of the final degree project report.

It was developed in different phases. Firstly, the application was developed to manage the submission of reports for the Master’s Degree. With the experience gained, the project registration phase was followed by the submission of monitoring reports and engineering project reports.

Both the Master’s and Engineering reports are automatically sent to the UPCommons repository of the UPC library in order to preserve and disseminate the projects.

The project has resulted in significant savings in paper and money for our students who, in many cases, no longer have to send a copy of their final report on paper.
