Salmeron

Graduated in Computer Engineering in information technology from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya in 2016. He is currently part of the inLab FIB as a research support staff and has collaborated on Smart Mobility projects, traffic modeling, design and development of software products, research projects, European projects and data analysis. In the area of cybersecurity he has participated in European projects in the field of mobility and security in transport infrastructures and connected vehicles. He has also provided training in cybersecurity.

Main projects directed

Nexus Geographics has contacted inLab FIB, as mobility experts, in order to carry out a consultancy and analysis for the improvement of the Mou-te tool.
Research and development of a pilot disruptive traffic model, which takes advantage of the possibilities of the latest advances in computing, communications and data sources.
Development of this application that allows to establish a group work environment in the virtual campus of the UOC.

Main projects participated

Participate in an open hub of knowledge around mobility and automotive initiated by SEAT, Volkswagen Group Research and the UPC, simulating new concepts of urban mobility
Powering truly active and dynamic Internet of Things (IoT) ecosystems
Implement an experimental Big Data platform based on Open Source tools to facilitate and streamline processes to support data analysis and processing.
