Jordi Montero had his degree in Computer Science in 1998, has been PAS of UPC since 2000. His research interest includes discrete simulation system and he has working in several projects for different enterprises -Aena, Agbar, Almirall Prodesfarma, Damm, Indra, Siemens,…- and sectors: clinical trail, airport, transports, manufacturing, pharmaceutical.

Nowadays, He’s focused on several projects around emerging mobile technologies.

Improve accessibility for People with Reduced Mobility (PRM) on the different modes of transport linked to the MTA and improve the user’s experience of the rail network map.
Web service to automate referrals from different agencies within the web manager that the CVI uses on a daily basis.
The objective of this project is to contribute to the improvement of some of the analytical tools developed by Amalfi to improve the management of the healthcare system.

Main projects participated

Simulation in the lotting of paint in the SEAT factories
Extension of the tooPath tracking system designed for real-time mass tracking of runners in long-distance races.
Mobile application that uses augmented reality to allow visitors to the MAC’s Castell de Olèrdola to get to know the different points of interest and obtain information.
