inLabers are awarded with prizes at the Inauguration Ceremony of the Academic Year 2019-2020

On the 4th of october the inauguration ceremony of the academic year 2019-2020 was held at UPC, where prizes were awarded to all those entities, groups and students or alumni of the UPC who have won a prize during the 2018- 2019. Among these are students who are or have been part of the inLab FIB team. The groups that have won the following prizes throughout the past academic year have received a prize from the  UPC:

The group B7DigitalHealthHack, formed by Marc Vila,, graduated in Computer Engineering and MAI in the FIB,Juan José Vázquez, graduated in Computer Engineering and MIRE in the FIB and Pau Oliver, graduated in Computer Engineering at the FIB, all members of InLab FIB, have obtained the first prize of Digital Health Hackathon 2018, awarded by Accenture and the Hospital Clínico de Barcelona.

The group Koala, formed by Marc Vila,, graduated in Computer Engineering and MEI in the FIB, Ester Lorente, graduated in Computer Engineering and Master in Innovation and Computer Science Research at the FIB, Pau Torrents Gallego, graduated in Computer Engineering at the FIB , and Jorgina Arrés Cardona, a collaborator in inLab FIB training and a bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering at the FIB, have won a prize at the Rail Map Challenge, a hackathon organized by ATM and SmartCatalonia.

The MareNostrum team, formed by Sergio Paredes, graduated in Computer Engineering at the FIB, Gonzalo Recio, graduated in Computer Engineering at the FIB, Gisela Ruzafa, graduated in Computer Engineering at the FIB and Josep de Cid graduated in Computer Engineering at the FIB They obtained the first prize of the Raíl Map Challenge for the development of a mobile application that offers a routing system taking into account accessibility for people with reduced mobility in public transport.
