Lya2 is a tool that is responsible for planning the operation and management of health professionals in a centre or service. It offers a set of functionalities, the main of which are: management of work areas and shifts, management of holidays and leave days, calendar of service sessions, changing of guard, etc.
Lya2 has contacted inLab FIB to carry out the development of a solution to the problem of on-call assignment in the healthcare field to include it in its planning and management tool. Specifically, an algorithm is developed for the assignment of shifts on duty of doctors in a hospital in a generic way taking into account both general restrictions and personal preferences.
