RUCOM for UOC

Description

The objective of the RUCOM project is to implement and test in real subjects an evaluation and progress visualization system based on competencies and rubrics.

Currently the UOC has a set of tools and services that already work with the competencies of a subject but now it wants to add the rubric component.

A rubric is a resource used to clearly and objectively evaluate learning processes or activities, such as a discussion, a presentation, an essay or a project.

inLab FIB participates in the development of new tools that allow the inclusion of rubrics in the different levels of educational resources, and the integration of several concepts of the ontology used by the UOC following the standardization of its data.

Subsequently, the system will allow correcting the students’ submissions by marking where the rubric evaluation criteria are met.
