Managing teaching guides for programs adapted to the European Higher Education Area

Description

The initial objective of the project is to adapt and improve the tool for editing and publishing the teaching guides for the Computer Engineering degree program (program adapted to the EHEA). Subsequently, it has also been adapted for the guides of the new 2012 master’s degrees (MAI, MEI and MIRI) of the FIB.

The tool also provides utilities to validate and publish subjects to the person in charge of the studies.

Teaching guides are documents that specify all aspects of a subject. The objectives, the competencies to be acquired, the program, the teaching and evaluation methodology, the bibliography and the academic activities are described. The concept of teaching guide, like many other references in the university world, has undergone changes with the Bologna Plan, so the rules for the elaboration of these guides are increasingly a detailed planning of a subject, based on the principles that guide the process of Convergence in the creation of a European Higher Education Area.
