Initial simulation study and analysis of Line K of the National Railroad Network of Mexico.

Description

The objective of this project is to carry out an analysis of the circulation time between the different significant points of the network (stations, stops and/or bifurcations), determination of the bottlenecks of the different sections of the section and the capacity analysis with the proposal of timetables of different scenarios created from different operation possibilities, different hourly limitations and/or proposals for modification of the network speeds.

A simulation study and analysis (using kinematics of train movement) will be carried out using Arena simulation software to determine the capacity of section K of the backbone network from Ciudad Ixtepec (section Z link) to Ciudad Hidalgo (border with Guatemala).
