Description

GeoActio is a company specialized in the world of intelligent and sustainable mobility. They use Artificial Intelligence, BigData and Internet of Things techniques to offer solutions that improve public transportation.

GeoActio created a people counting system inside the bus and implemented a set of algorithms to deeply analyze the data obtained. These technologies enable their customers to better understand their transportation networks and improve them, for example, by predicting occupancy on future routes.

This pilot project complements the previous solution: a system capable of counting the number of people, scooters, wheelchairs of people with reduced mobility and baby strollers (among other objects of interest).

The configuration of devices has also been studied in order to be able to generate, in the future, a fleet of devices that can be installed at customers’ bus stops. This pilot uses Cloud technologies to manage the collection of information and remotely monitor the devices that, together, will make up the solution that will be presented to GeoActio’s customers.
