AgriLogistics is a project that drives the digitalisation of the agri-food supply chain by creating an integrated service in a collaborative data space that enables information to be shared securely and efficiently among all stakeholders in the value chain. The service’s objective is to improve logistical coordination, increase process visibility and facilitate more agile, data-driven decision-making.
The project facilitates the sharing of information on inventories, production and demand forecasts, as well as the synchronisation between suppliers, producers and distributors. This shared view enables the anticipation of incidents, the optimisation of logistics planning and the improvement of coordination among the various actors in the sector.
By applying data science and combinatorial optimisation techniques, AgriLogistics develops a decision support tool that helps increase operational efficiency, reduce logistics costs and minimise resource waste. The project contributes to building a more efficient, resilient and sustainable agri-food supply chain, ready to meet the sector’s present and future challenges.
