Web inLab FIB

Description

In April 2012, with the aim of explaining in a more appropriate way the functions and expertise that the FIB Calculation Laboratory (LCFIB) had been incorporating throughout its more than 40 years of existence, we take a step forward to become inLab FIB. In this step, it is when we decide that we need to have a presence on the internet to show everything we are and do.

This is the starting point of the inLab website, a dynamic website where we explain our day-to-day life. The main contents of the website are:

  • Projects that are developed in the inLab
  • Interesting current news
  • Articles from inLab staff explaining technology topics
  • Training courses given by inlab professionals
  • Intranet for internal staff

The project also includes the management of social networks like Facebook, Twitter, Google+, LinkedIn, YouTube and SlideShare.

Once the website is published, we consider the project finished, however we update the content daily as well as its maintenance and continuous improvement.

During 2016 we updated the website, created with the Drupal content manager (version 7), with a new information structure and a new theme, making it responsive and with a more modern look in line with current websites.
