In this project, the dynamic behavior of a future intermodal railway terminal planned in the Mediterranean area has been analysed.
This terminal will make use of the Mediterranean freight corridor, this terminal being the origin/destination of semi-trailers with destination/origin other railway terminals in North-Central Europe.
The final objective of the study has been to determine the maximum capacity of the terminal in terms of number of trains/day depending on the stage of development of the railway structures.
