i3-Market

Description

i3-MARKET will develop technologies and solutions for a trusted (secure, autonomous, consensus-based and auditable), interoperable (semantic-based) and decentralized (scalable) infrastructure for data-driven collaboration and federation of ‘existing and new future of market platforms. The i3-MARKET fund plan will enable federation through interoperability of existing and future emerging market spaces and sites.

It will allow SMEs (as well as other stakeholders) to share, trade (monetize) their data assets, as well as use and buy from others. Thus, it will encourage and allow the creation of a more trusted European data market.

The i3-MARKET project will develop missing technologies and tools to help overcome the main barriers of today’s markets and data economies, namely: openness and fairness limitations, security and privacy threats, interoperability issues.

inLab FIB is part of the working group WP4 i3-MARKET Backplane for the Integration of Data Platforms and Market Economy and has been in charge of leading one of the tasks of this group, in which a central interface (API) is designed and developed that integrates all the services developed by other work groups. In this way, their interoperability is ensured, in addition to offering a single entry point to be able to use all these services. In addition, the inLab FIB also participates in several other tasks, such as, for example, the deployment and operation of this interface.
