Atlas by UPC
Description
Atlas is a project that has been carried out collaboratively between several people from various units and departments of the UPC.
The objective of the project is to have a tool that is capable of representing the map of knowledge of the UPC and to show areas of confluence of disciplines, and emerging areas.
To do this, a bottom up process has been followed where the “papers” are processed through NLP techniques, then clusters are created using Machine learning algorithms and, finally, all this information is displayed by means of a displayer that enables us to filter the information and see all the details
