UOC – Controversy

Description

Controversia is an application integrated with the virtual campus of the Open University of Catalonia (UOC) that provides a collaborative workspace to support teaching activities and encourage active student participation. The platform facilitates communication, knowledge sharing and teamwork within courses.

The tool allows users to share content, participate in discussion forums, comment on peers’ submissions, assess assignments using rubrics, and manage other activities typical of collaborative learning. Furthermore, it incorporates features such as file sharing, a calendar and various tracking mechanisms that facilitate the organisation and development of activities.

The inLab FIB has developed this application and its integration with the UOC’s virtual campus, providing a solution that facilitates group work, improves interaction between students and teaching staff, and supports the assessment and monitoring processes of learning.
