MyBits for BitsxLaMarató is a project focused on the development and improvement of the MyBits application, which supports the management and organisation of the BitsxLaMarató hackathon. The project aims to modernise the platform by refactoring and optimising the source code, reviewing the application’s internal structure, and revamping the user interface, improving both its architecture and user experience.
The tasks include reviewing and reorganising the existing code to eliminate unnecessary complexities, reduce technical debt and facilitate the addition of new features. Work is also underway to improve the system’s performance and efficiency, as well as to update the interface to provide more intuitive and accessible navigation.
This update will provide a more robust, scalable and easy-to-maintain application, ready to adapt to the needs of future editions of the hackathon. At the same time, it will help to simplify management processes and offer a more agile and satisfying experience for both participants and the organising team during the event.
