Mobidata for Carnet

MOBIDATA is a project aimed at deepening the exploitation of passive ICT data sources to obtain information on mobility patterns and to support transport modelling and traffic management. The project continues the collaboration with CARNET, building on the knowledge and experience gained in previous initiatives to develop new mobility analysis methodologies.

By processing and analysing these data sources, the project enables the extraction of information on travel times, congestion levels and movement patterns over time. This information provides a more accurate insight into mobility behaviour and facilitates the analysis of the transport network.

The project’s results contribute both to providing useful information to users of the transport network and to supporting the authorities responsible for mobility in their planning, management and decision-making tasks, promoting a more efficient and sustainable management of traffic.
