Antonio Cañabate (PhD) is an associate professor at the Business Management Department (UPC Barcelona-Tech University) teaching information systems management and online marketing at the Barcelona School of Informatics where he has also worked as the vice-dean of industry relations (1996-2001). He was the academic director of the SAP/R3 postgraduate course at UPC School of Professional & Executive Development (1999-2001) and the coordinator of the systems information area at the interuniversity MBA (UPC-UB-UAB 1993-1999). His research interests are related to Digital Business, Information Technologies impact on organizations and SSME (Service Science, Management and Engineering). He has collaborated in the Telefónica-UPC Chair on the Evolution and Future Trends of the Information Society and is Member of the Service Research and Innovation Institute Spanish Chapter. He was founder and partner of the start-ups Medhouses Agencies Networks, S.L. (2001-2006) and Audienz, S.L. (2000-2001).
