The first edition of OpenApps4GEO, the virtual real-time competition that promotes the development of mobile applications with a geographic component using open source software and open data, will be held from February 13 to 16.
The contest is promoted by the GIS and Remote Sensing Service (SIGTE) of the University of Girona, is part of the 8th Free GIS Conference and has the sponsorship of Nexus Geografics and Prodevelop, and the support of Barcelona Digital Technology Center, CartoDB, OpenStreetMap and the Catalan Association of Geographic Information Technology.
The prize for the best mobile application prototype is endowed with
