Modelling, simulation and analysis of Almirall's AGV transport system

Description 

Almirall, an international pharmaceutical company based in Barcelona and committed to improving health, has asked inLab FIB to perform a simulation study that allows evaluating  how making changes to production logistics could affect their automatic guided vehicles fleet.

Simulation models let us evaluate hypothetical scenarios reducing the risks of an actual implementation.

In order to carry out this simulation study, inLab will develop a complete model of the production plan that is able to emulate the movement of the vehicles as well as the missions derived from changes in production logistics.
