On September 17 Francesc Torres, rector of the Polytechnic University of Catalonia and Jorge Núñez, AdQuiver CEO – MAdTech (Marketing and Advertising Technology) company, specialized in the implementation and generation of digital sales through strategies Data driven marketing for the tourism sector – signed a collaboration agreement.

The collaboration between AdQuiver and UPC was promoted by the Innovation and Technology Center (CIT UPC). This, is part of the project “Les Moires d’AdQore: smart technology platform for the optimization of Data-Driven Marketing focused on the tourism sector” Which is subsidized by the NEOTEC program of the Center for Industrial Technological Development (CDTI).

With the agreement, the team of researchers inLab FIB will collaborate with AdQuiver in the development and scaling of MoirAI technology, whose goal is to apply big data and artificial intelligence techniques to tourism marketing and to be able to get a system prepared to manage and implement hundreds of variables in real time based both on the behavior data and the context of digital users.

The version 1.0 of the MoirAI project has been developed thanks to the support of the EATIC program, a call for subsidies for high-tech and knowledge-intensive companies in areas of the Smart Specialization Strategy of the Canaries (RIS3), granted by the Ministry of Economy, Industry, Trade and Knowledge of the Government of the Canary Islands and co-funded by 85% by the FEDER funds.
