On Thursday, April 11, the Humanitarian Map Day 2019 is celebrated in Barcelona, where Professor Jaume Figueras will be responsible.
During this great event, we will map collectively and simultaneously in more than 10 cities and under different modalities. Together we want to fill some of the current cartographic gaps and document forgotten populations that both need our medical-humanitarian assistance.
The maps are a vital tool, in Médicos Sin Fronteras use them to reach victims of humanitarian crises or natural disasters, to evaluate their needs, or to track the spread of a disease.
To participate, you only need basic knowledge of computers, internet and a lot of enthusiasm!
