On Wednesday, October 19, the 1st congress of TECNIO Association in the grounds of the Old Church of Sant Domènec of the University of Girona. Its main objective was to share experiences among all TECNIO centers in order to give them visibility and identify the current challenges facing the knowledge transfer ecosystem to transform Catalonia into an innovative power. The congress also had an exhibition area where the activities and technological development capacities of TECNIO agents were exposed.
Several round tables were held at the congress with the participation of experts in innovation from both the public and private sectors. The purpose pursued with this activity was to promote policies and mechanisms to facilitate company-center TECNIO collaborations in the medium term and to be able to generate high-impact innovation for our country. Ernest Teniente, Director of inLab FIB, participated in the round table of “Time to market” where possible mechanisms were discussed to encourage research results to reach the market.
