Final Degree Project Management

Descripción

inLab FIB has developed during the last years an application integrated in the Racó (faculty intranet) for the management of FIB’s Final Degree Projects that streamlines all the procedures that until now had to be done in person at the secretary’s office.

The new Final Project management application extends this application to support the evaluation of projects based on rubrics and competency orientation.

The project itself consisted of formalizing the processes defined by the final degree project committee and translating them into an application to manage the entire workflow, which consists of 3 major stages:

Publication of project offers by professors so that students can register them.

Registration of the project by the student, with the corresponding validation by the director and the person in charge of the specialty of the competencies to be worked on.

Project management once enrolled, which is the heart of the application and guides the student through each of the phases of the project.

  • Initial project evaluation as part of the Project Management course.
  • Presentation of the monitoring and evaluation report by the director
  • Presentation of the project report
  • Defense of the project and evaluation by the court with an automatic calculation of the grade based on the different evaluations of the project.
