i-MovE (interoperability for efficient, safe and equitable mobility)

Description

The aim of the i-MovE project is to generate a collaborative data space that facilitates access to urban mobility information to all actors in the transport sector. This space will contain different types of data with different spatial and temporal aggregation frames. This project will unify and process the data to obtain integrated, complete and reliable information that serves administrations and private entities to achieve a more sustainable, efficient, safe and equitable mobility. The interoperability of physical and data systems will be promoted, optimising the planning, operation and profitability of urban transport for the benefit of all citizens.

With this information, this project will develop 4 solutions to offer innovative services with a high scalability potential:

  • iMovE Demand: will offer planning services for the efficient operation of taxi/VTC from generating models of demand density estimation.
  • iMovE Operator: Its objective is to offer a working day distribution tool for taxi/VTC drivers.
  • iMovE-Control: It will offer a static analysis service of the operation of bus lines or other public transport services to determine the planning of routes, and study the hierarchical allocation of traffic flows between urban sections and control.
  • iMovE-Priority: It will offer a real-time performance service prioritizing public transport or other services that require priority.

This project is funded by the Ministry for Digital Transformation and the Public Foundation of the Spanish Government within the call “Demonstrators and Use Cases of Data Spaces (1st call)” within the framework of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan.
