Montse Estañol holds a degree in Computer Science from UPC (2009). In 2016 she obtained her PhD in Computing at the same university. Her thesis deals with the modeling and verification of data-centric business process models. She has been an associate lecturer in the ESSI Department (UPC) since 2017 and a course instructor at the UOC since 2019, where she teaches courses related to software engineering.

Her research interests include conceptual modeling and ontologies, data-centered business process modeling, and automated reasoning in these areas.

Proposal of a set of tools to facilitate the integration, enrichment and analysis of the data provided by the Department of Social Welfare of the Barcelona City Council.

REMEDiAL – Automatic Reasoning, Model Execution and Data Analysis using Ontologies

Provide capabilities to help automate the software development process, based on the use of domain ontologies.
