The FIB degrees maintain high entry requirements and strong demand for the upcoming academic year

The Barcelona School of Informatics (FIB) has once again demonstrated its appeal among students who wish to pursue university degrees with high demand and competitive entry requirements for the upcoming academic year.

The Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering (GEI) remains the most sought-after, with 611 first-choice applications (nearly 2000 total applications) for the 360 available places, and a cutoff score of 10.622. The Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science and Engineering (GCED) stands out for its cutoff score, which has reached 12.514, with 145 first-choice applications for only 50 places.

Other degrees with high demand and strict entry requirements have been the Bachelor’s Degree in Artificial Intelligence (GIA), with a cutoff score of 11.942; the Bachelor’s Degree in Bioinformatics (BBI), with 10.900; and the PARS (Academic Program of Successive Pathway), with 11.804.

In the future, some of these students, brilliant and highly motivated, will become part of the inLab FIB team, where they will help us continue developing cutting-edge technological and digital transformation projects. Their talent and commitment will allow us to keep growing and undertaking ambitious projects, and therefore, these students will become a key part of the technological innovation driven by FIB.

It is a privilege to be part of a discipline that generates so much attraction, which allows us to face the future with optimism and eagerness to continue contributing our educational expertise to these students.
