Students from inLab FIB participate in an NVIDIA workshop on autonomous artificial intelligence agents.

On the occasion of the inauguration of the expansion of the MareNostrum 5 (MN5) supercomputer, NVIDIA organised the hands-on Build-A-Claw workshop in Barcelona, in which students from inLab FIB were able to participate.

The event, held on 13 October at the Palau de Pedralbes, allowed participants to learn first-hand about the possibilities of autonomous artificial intelligence agents and to experiment with the technologies that make their development possible.

Creating autonomous agents with NVIDIA NemoClaw

During the workshop, led by NVIDIA, attendees were able to work with NemoClaw, NVIDIA’s solution designed to facilitate the deployment of autonomous artificial intelligence agents in enterprise environments, complete with tools and security mechanisms.

These agents, inspired by open-source initiatives such as OpenClaw, can carry out tasks autonomously and automate various processes. The activity has offered participants the opportunity to delve deeper into this technology through a hands-on experience focused on building their own AI agent.

Participation in this initiative has enabled the students of inLab FIB to familiarise themselves with the latest trends in artificial intelligence and to discover new tools for the development of autonomous systems.
