Development and scaling of MoirAI, an intelligent platform for the optimization of Data-Driven Marketing processes focused on the tourism sector.
I am a postdoctoral researcher at the Database Technologies and Information Management (DTIM) group in Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC). My research focuses on system aspects in the broad area of data and information management, with the main goal of providing automatic methods and tools to democratize data access for end users lacking the technical knowledge required for contemporary large-scale data-intensive ecosystems.
I am also teaching assistant (professor associat) in the Department of Service and Information System Engineering (ESSI), where I participate in database-related courses (see more in teaching).
On June 2013, I obtained my BSc degree in Computer Science at Facultat d’Informàtica de Barcelona FIB. Later, on September 2015 I obtained my MSc degree on Information Technologies for Business Intelligence (IT4BI), a joint Erasmus Mundus master degree issued by Université Libre de Bruxelles, Université François Rabelais and Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. Finally, on May 2019, I obtained my PhD degree jointly issued by Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya and Université Libre de Bruxelles, advised by professors Alberto Abelló, Oscar Romero and Stijn Vansummeren.
