Ferran Sabaté (Ph.D., UPC) is an assistant professor at the Business Administration Department of the Barcelona School of Informatics (UPC Barcelona-Tech University). His research interests are related to e-Business, Enterprise Changes due to Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), and "Service Science, Management and Engineering" (SSME). He is collaborating with Telefonica-UPC chair studying the evolution of Knowledge Society and its tendencies, specially in the educational and competitiveness scopes, putting special efforts for understanding and promoting the use of ICT in the education and Small and Medium Enterprises. He is also member of Service Research and Innovation Institute Spanish Chapter (SRII SPAIN).
