Cada una de les C\u00e0tedres Abertis&nbsp;sobre Gesti\u00f3 d\u2019Infraestructures del Transport convoca anualment el Premi Abertis, que premia a les millores tesis doctorals de les universitats del pa\u00eds d\u2019origen de cada c\u00e0tedra. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.catedrasabertis.com\/ca\/xarxa-abertis\/upc-barcelonatech\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Abertis-UPC Professorship<\/a>&nbsp;in order to encourage research&nbsp;annually calls the Abertis Awards. Each of the Abertis Chairs&nbsp;on Transport Infrastructure Management annually announces the Abertis Award, which awards the best doctoral theses of the universities of the country of origin of each chair. The Abertis Prize&nbsp;is the preamble to the Abertis Chair\u2019s International Prize, also on Transport Infrastructure Management.  <\/p>\n<p>The winners of each national edition, go on to participate in the International Prize, obtaining from the latter the absolute winners of the different participating countries.<\/p>\n<p>The&nbsp;Meritxell Pacheco, who had worked at inLab&nbsp;in <a href=\"http:\/\/inlab.fib.upc.edu\/ca\/simulant-el-futur-de-la-mobilitat-urbana\">transport and urban mobility projects<\/a>,&nbsp;has been awarded both nationally and internationally for her doctoral thesis: <em><a href=\"http:\/\/upcommons.upc.edu\/handle\/2117\/82011\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">&#8220;Traffic parameters estimation from the analysis of connected car data&#8221;<\/a><\/em> directed by&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/inlab.fib.upc.edu\/ca\/persones\/jaume-barcelo\">Jaume Barcel\u00f3<\/a>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/inlab.fib.upc.edu\/ca\/persones\/lidia-montero\">L\u00eddia Montero<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>You can read the new: &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.fundacioabertis.org\/ca\/la-xarxa-de-catedres-abertis-entrega-el-seu-premi-internacional-mes-global\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">La Xarxa de C\u00e0tedres Abertis entrega el seu Premi Internacional m\u00e9s global<\/a>&#8221; in the Abertis Fundation web.<\/p>\n<p>Congratulations Meritxell!&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The &nbsp;Abertis-UPC professorship&nbsp;amb la finalitat d&#8217;incentivar la investigaci\u00f3&nbsp;convoca anualment els premis Abertis.
