Last Friday, November 26, the inLab FIB organized the tribute to Victor Huerta Cerezuela, who was for many years head of the computer services of the inLab FIB, then called the Faculty of Computing Laboratory. The event was held in the Master Classroom of the North Campus of the UPC.<\/p>\n

The event was attended by Josep Fernandez Ruzafa, Dean of the Faculty of Informatics of Barcelona, \u200b\u200bRosa M. Mart\u00edn, former head of computer services at the laboratory; Pep Gatell, from La Fura dels Baus and who had collaborated on a project with V\u00edctor years ago; Maria Ribera Sancho, Associate Director of the inLab FIB and of whom V\u00edctor had been part of his dean’s team; Josep Casanovas, Director of the inLab FIB at the time of V\u00edctor and Professor Antonio Huerta, Victor’s brother and Professor at the UPC, who glossed over Victor’s career and his contribution during the years worked at the inLab FIB. The event ended with the delivery to the family of a book consisting of messages of remembrance and representative photos to commemorate Victor.<\/p>\n

V\u00edctor has left us an intense and indelible memory. We grew up with him. With him we learned. With him we enjoyed. We shared unforgettable moments with him. Thank you very much Victor. You have shown us to be an excellent professional and above all, to be the best of friends.<\/p>\n
