App<\/span> Smart<\/span> City<\/span> Hack<\/span> is<\/span> an international project<\/span> led by<\/span> Barcelona<\/span> seeking<\/span> digital solutions<\/span> for<\/span> smart cities, it will<\/span> work<\/span> on five<\/span> areas:<\/span> urban transport<\/span>, energy and<\/span> sustainability<\/span>,<\/span> culture and tourism<\/span>, commerce<\/span> and<\/span> shopping<\/span> and collaborative city.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The aim is that people who want to change things , and creative developers merge experiences, knowledge and ideas with technological capacity to create mobile applications that make Barcelona a bespoke smart City.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

How<\/span> is organized<\/span>?<\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n

Participants can<\/span> be part of a<\/span> working group<\/span> which<\/span> will come together<\/span> developers<\/span>, designers,<\/span> experts<\/span> and<\/span> citizens.<\/span> Each group<\/span> will have<\/span> the help of<\/span> mentors<\/span>, who<\/span> will accompany them<\/span> throughout<\/span> the process<\/span>,<\/span> from the<\/span> initial idea to<\/span> the final application<\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Where and when<\/span>?<\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n

April 18<\/span> will take place<\/span> at<\/span> the Ateneu de Fabricaci\u00f3 de Les Corts<\/em><\/span>,<\/span> the<\/span> Hack Session, it will be<\/span> a<\/span> day of<\/span> talks and workshops<\/span> to form<\/span> teams<\/span> to work on<\/span> ideas<\/span> and<\/span> apps<\/span> creators<\/span> contact<\/span> with<\/span> mentors<\/span> and<\/span> experts<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

The competition<\/span> format<\/span> will be<\/span> hack<\/span>-at<\/span>-home<\/span> and online<\/span>.<\/span> During the<\/span> Smart<\/span> City Expo<\/span> World Congress<\/span> will be held the<\/span> Gala<\/span> Final<\/span>,<\/span> which will present the<\/span> winners.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
