Wireless Media: Exploring multimedia mobile services
The main objective of the project is to explore the possibilities of mobile multimedia services: evaluating new wireless technologies and developing prototypes to acquire knowledge of this field, its technical potential and its possible creative and commercial constraints.
The concepts of geolocated applications (InfoNeu) was developed, as well as other mobile applications such as tv, games or multimedia apps taking into account how constrained the technology of mobile devices was at the moment. Furthermore, preliminary business plans regarding these applications were devised.
The outcome of this project is oriented to simplify and open doors to the development of digital content and services, built on a solid business foundations that allows combining innovation with business feasibility.
