Reception, picking, and dispatching system in Almirall labs
Description
The merger of two large pharmaceutical companies, Almirall and Prodesfarma, originated this simulation study to design the configuration of the new plant for dispatch / reception Almirall has in Sant Andreu de la Barca and to guarantee a good handling of the new integrated management of more than 700 references of different products:
- Simulation of large logistical contexts.
- Design of the new plant reception, picking and dispatch.
- Evaluation of alternatives – work shifts, auto-dispensers, elevator belts.
