On 19 October the First Congress of the TECNIO Association was held at the Old Church of San Domènec of the University of Girona. This congress had, on the one hand, an exhibition area where to see the activities and technological development capabilities of TECNIO agents, and on the other, a content agenda ready to identify the current challenges facing our knowledge transfer ecosystem to transform Catalonia into an innovative power.
Experts in various disciplines from the public sphere, as well as from research, innovation and the business world discussed different topics to promote policies and mechanisms to facilitate research-based collaborations in a long-term initiative to generate high-impact innovation in our country. Among these outstanding members was inLab FIB director Ernest Teniente, who participated in a round table dedicated to finding mechanisms to encourage research to reach the market.
