Mobile Solutions

Area description

inLab FIB has the ability to integrate mobile technology with other innovating technologiesthat imply a higher technological risk.

In this area, inLab FIB develops mobile apps oriented to geoservices (mainly tracing and geolocation using free maps as information support) and taking advantage of the power of technologies like distributed web services, interaction with Internet of Things (IoT), connected car services or wearable devices. These applications provide solutions in different contexts, such as mobility, transport, sports or health.

The acquired knowledge and experience, together with the tools developed, allow not only to use it for R+D projects, but also to offer training and support to the development of mobile applications based on OpenStreetMap for the tracing, tracking and guidance of vehicles or people.
