ETURISME: Neutral Point for Tourism Services

Description 

The Neutral Point for Tourism Services project was a collaborative research, development and innovation initiative promoted by Clúster per a la Innovació and funded with the aid for business research and development provided by the Secretariat for Industry and Enterprise in April 2007.

The intended objective is the development of a pilot project that increases the added value of tourism in the territory and improves the experience of consumers of tourism services in the area by integrating the latest-generation information technologies.

During its two years of activity, the Neutral Point for Tourism Services has carried out research and development tasks in the field of information processing technologies and personalization and recommendation agents. These tasks are a means to creating an advanced tool that acts as a link between providers and customers, and that is able to advise tourists on the services that best meet their personal interests.
